Harela Celebration

Harela one of the most auspicious festivals of the Kumaon region in Uttrakhand is celebrated to mark the onset of the monsoon season.  The principal Dr DPS Gupta, teachers and students eagerly participated in the plantation drive within the school premises. The saplings of mango, guava, hibiscus were planted. Each sapling that was planted imbibed the lessons about the significance of trees in maintaining the balance of eco system to create a clean and green atmosphere and help in making this earth a better place to live in.
