Baisakhi Celebrations at Guru Nanak Academy

Baisakhi is a popular festival celebrated in India. It marks the beginning of the New Year for the Sikh community .The middle school of Guru Nanak Academy organised an assembly on this occasion on 12th of April,2024.The assembly started with the Sabad to seek blessings from the Almighty for a prosperous harvest season followed by English and Punjabi speeches .A song was sung by the students of classes 5to9.The assembly ended with a beautiful and joyous dance. Our school consultant Dr Annie Singh emphasized the value of the month by sharing compassion and empathy in students. The celebration helped the children learn more about India’s festival and rich cultural heritage.
